Educational Qualification
- A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a recognized university
- Candidates in the final year/semester of their degree are eligible to apply
- If selected, the candidate must produce the degree certificate at the time of joining
- No minimum percentage requirement is specified by SBI
Nationality / Citizenship
- Indian citizen, OR
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, OR
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling, OR
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries (Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc.) with the intention of permanently settling in India — must hold an Eligibility Certificate from the Government of India
Other Conditions
- Computer literacy is expected — candidates must be comfortable with basic computer operations
- Proficiency in the official language of the state/UT where the candidate applies is desirable
- No minimum typing speed requirement
- Candidates who have been dismissed from banking service or debarred by IBPS are not eligible
